Monthly serviced apartments in New Cairo: what to check
A Travelholic home in New Cairo. Photos show our homes, not the nearby campus or attractions.

For a monthly stay, the small details become daily habits. The desk, laundry arrangement, route to work and cleaning schedule can matter as much as the bedroom. Whether you are relocating, visiting family or working in New Cairo for several weeks, use this checklist to compare furnished homes and ask for a clear quote for your exact dates.

Define the dates and who will stay

Write down your expected arrival and departure dates, the number of guests and whether that guest count will change. A calendar month and a 30-night stay are not always the same request. Share the dates you actually need so that availability and the quote can be checked consistently.

If your plans are uncertain, ask how an extension works before reserving. The home may be reserved for someone else after your departure, and an extension may have a different rate. Do not assume that paying for a longer stay automatically creates an open-ended arrangement.

Ask for a complete price breakdown

Compare the total for the entire stay, the payment timing and the currency charged. Confirm which services and utilities are included, whether any usage limits apply, and whether there is a refundable deposit or other amount payable separately. Ask how optional services such as extra cleaning would be charged.

Do not calculate a monthly offer by multiplying the public nightly starting price. Availability, dates, length of stay and home selection can affect the quote. Use the website’s current result for your dates or contact the team to discuss the stay.

  • Total for the exact number of nights.
  • Payment timing and currency.
  • Included utilities and any limits.
  • Cleaning and linen arrangements.
  • Any separate deposit and the return conditions.
  • Cost and availability of optional services.

Check the kitchen, laundry and workspace

Think through an ordinary weekday. Where will you make breakfast, put groceries, work and dry laundry? Check the photos and amenity list, then ask about equipment that is not clearly shown. A washing machine, shared laundry and an external laundry service are different arrangements.

If you need reliable video calls, explain your working hours and ask about the connection in the actual home. A desk in a bedroom may be fine for a solo stay but less suitable when another guest needs to sleep. Choose the layout for the routine you expect to repeat.

Test the location against your regular journeys

Identify the places you will visit repeatedly: an office, university entrance, family home or other appointment address. Compare those routes with the home map. A location that works for one sightseeing day may not be the one you want for a repeated commute.

Travelholic’s New Cairo collection covers Lotus, the AUC area, Near CFC and 90 Street. Start with the location closest to your routine, then compare individual homes. Confirm parking or access requirements before selecting a home.

Read the change and cancellation conditions

Check the cancellation terms attached to your stay and ask what happens if you leave early, change dates or need to extend. Also read the house rules and confirm any visitor, pet or occupancy requirements with the team. The exact home and stay terms should guide your decision.

Keep the confirmed quote and agreed service details with your reservation information. If an employer or organisation needs an invoice, discuss the required billing details before payment without assuming that every requested format can be provided.

Send a useful brief to the team

A clear request saves time and helps the team suggest suitable homes. Include your dates, guest count, preferred area, budget range and the features you cannot do without. Explain whether you need separate bedrooms, a particular work setup or specific access arrangements.

Compare available homes online, then contact Travelholic if you need help with a longer stay. Confirm the final home, price, services and terms before paying.

  • Dates and expected number of nights.
  • Number of adults and children.
  • Main destination or office address.
  • Preferred sleeping layout.
  • Essential amenities and access needs.
  • Budget range and flexibility on dates.

The slow-news edition

A short letter from the homes — new openings, neighborhood notes, and direct-only rates. About once a month.

Keep planning.
