Where to stay in New Cairo: four areas to compare
A Travelholic home in New Cairo. Photos show our homes, not the nearby campus or attractions.

Start with the address you will visit most often. A university visit, a week of meetings and a family stay can point to different parts of New Cairo, even when the homes look similar online. Travelholic groups its New Cairo homes into four areas: Lotus, AUC, Near CFC and 90 Street. This guide helps you build a shortlist around your daily routine, then check the details of the individual home.

Choose by your daily route

Save the exact location of your main appointment, office or family address. Then compare it with the map on each home page. Check the route for the time you expect to travel, including the return journey. A nearby pin does not establish a walking route, and a drive across New Cairo can vary with traffic and the entrance you need.

If your trip is mainly about central Cairo or the pyramids, compare the daily journeys before committing to New Cairo. A home that suits a campus visit may be less convenient for repeated trips elsewhere in the city.

AUC area: start here for a New Cairo campus visit

For visits to the American University in Cairo, first confirm the campus. AUC has both New Cairo and Tahrir Square locations. Travelholic’s AUC-area homes are in New Cairo; they are not accommodation for the Tahrir Square campus by location.

Once you have the correct campus and entrance, compare the studios and larger homes against your group size. If you are combining a university visit with work, check the actual workspace, internet arrangements and sleeping layout on the home page.

Near CFC: compare for trips around Cairo Festival City

If Cairo Festival City is an anchor for your plans, start with the Near CFC collection. Use the mall’s official website for current facilities and directions, then compare the home map with the particular entrance or meeting address you need.

The area name describes proximity; it does not mean a home is inside the mall or that every route is walkable. Ask the team about the exact location, parking and arrival arrangements before choosing.

Lotus: compare homes for your everyday routine

Lotus is another New Cairo option in the Travelholic collection. For a longer or family stay, look beyond the number of bedrooms: check kitchen equipment, bathrooms, laundry, stairs or lift access, and the space you will use between outings.

Do not assume every home in one neighbourhood has the same features. Compare the photos and amenity list for the exact home, and send the team any requirements that are essential to your stay.

90th Street: use the office address to narrow the search

For work trips around 90th Street, the precise office address matters more than the street name alone. Compare your meeting location with each home, and account for pickups, drop-offs and the route back in the evening.

If you will take calls from home, ask about the seating and work surface, the current internet connection and anything that might affect your working hours. Photos help establish the layout, but they cannot guarantee network performance.

Make a shortlist you can actually compare

Choose two or three homes and enter the same dates and guest count for each. Compare the total quoted amount and cancellation terms, then check the details that affect your day. A useful shortlist balances the route, the sleeping arrangement and the cost of the full stay.

  • Confirm the main destination and its exact entrance.
  • Check beds as well as maximum guest capacity.
  • Confirm any essential accessibility, parking or work requirements.
  • Read the home rules, arrival instructions and cancellation terms.
  • Ask about anything missing from the home page before payment.
